The winter holidays are starting: what's on your programme?

As always, the teachers have passed the torch to you, and their decision is irrevocable: the children are yours for 15 days. Don't panic, the main thing is to keep them occupied, because changes of pace are always more or less difficult for them. At nursery or school, the day is punctuated by a succession of group activities and workshops, as well as playtime. And when the holidays arrive, boom, there's a change of pace, and everyone needs a little time to adjust to it, which is perfectly normal.

Free up your Rikiki's energy

A change of pace means a change of nerves. All on your own, you have to rise to the challenge of stimulating, entertaining, occupying and learning, whereas a whole team of people take care of this during school time or in crèches. Mhmm... not easy. The key word in these cases is: GET OUT. Get some fresh air and get moving. This will not only guarantee you a great day out, but also a good night in, because your Rikiki will sleep well and fast (in principle).

In the 'Search for an activity' tab, you can select your child's age, as well as the type of activity you're looking for (cultural, physical, sporting, etc.), the location, the price and the period. I did a little simulation for a 4-year-old Rikiki (that makes me feel younger!) And the results are impressive! I invite you to take a look.

There's nothing like an incentive to get youngsters outdoors. Here's the magnificent scooter from Crozaboo, a German brand. The super-practical suitcase format means you can take your favourite hobbies, such as puzzles or dominoes, on holiday or on the road. However, I really like the book-sized "Magneti'stories" boxes, again from the lovely Janod brand.
