The soles are made in the south-west of France from non-slip felt, so not only will you not slip, but you'll also be able to go out and get the newspaper.

Fully lined, these slippers will give you warmth and comfort on long winter evenings.

The charentaise is worn tightly at first. After a while, the wool will settle, leaving more room for your feet. Don't go one size bigger or the slipper will become too big once the wool has settled.
