Ellen Gözel-Niehoff, also known as Madame Gözel, is an illustrator based in Enschede, Overijssel, the Netherlands. She graduated in graphic design and illustration at the Minerva Academy of Arts in Groningen in 2002. After working as a designer for several years, she rediscovered her passion for painting and started illustrating her “Happy Places”. Her work has since been published in various Dutch magazines and she has also opened her own Etsy shop.
