Painting by number is a fun way to paint:

A drawing is presented on a poster divided into numbered areas. The idea is to paint each area in the color that corresponds to its number. To do this, you'll need numbered paint pots, so you'll know which color to use for each part of the drawing.

Once you've finished your work, all you have to do is frame it to show it off on a wall or piece of furniture!
